@roguegrainco: Most salt and pepper shakers are designed to disappear into the background, so I wanted to make a set that deserved a spot on the countertop. Each shaker was carved into its own sculpted shape, fitted with a wooden lid and cork seal, then paired with a matching walnut stand to bring the whole project together. This is one of those projects that reminds me why I love woodworking, taking a simple everyday object and turning it into something people actually notice.
