It’s better you bow before receiving than bowing after receiving the holy communion

The question is who are we bowing to because the one we ought to bow to had already been recieved and is in us so there is no need the only thing needed right now is to talk to him silently for a moment.

so basically, according to GIRM there's the need to bow right as you approach and just before the minister says "The Body of Christ"... then you take and consume immediately, then a quiet moment of thanksgiving afterward as you approach where you sit... there's nothing like bow after receiving and that's the standard practice actually

I was taught at Sunday school that after receiving the holy communion you have Christ in you already and therefore there’s no need to bow

You how before receiving the holy communion, in giving reverence to the Christ you are about to receive. And if you will receive him in your palm too there is a right way about that. So after you don’t bow again to the altar.

Catholicblog3105 :
The Catholic Church requires a bow of the head before receiving Holy Communion, not after.
Bowing after receiving Communion is not required by the liturgy.
It is not wrong if done as a personal act of devotion, as long as it does not disrupt the Mass.
After receiving Communion, the Church encourages silent prayer and thanksgiving.

My dad taught me that you bow before receiving the holy communion as a sign of reverence to God,once you receive the holy communion, you have Christ in you so you don't have to bow. Rev. Emma @The Second Archangel kindly educate us on above. Thank you.

Normally it is not right if your intention is to bow to the communion in the hands of the priest or to the Tabernacle. But if it is to show reverence to the Priest then it is not wrong.
Why is it wrong? You have already taken Christ or God and He is in you and You are in Him. You are the tabernacle of God at that instance so you should bow to nothing.
