@.chadcel: The male loneliness epidemic Isn’t men or women’s fault. No species would voluntarily act against their own self-preservation. It’s simply the effect of a societal shift away from inter-dependence of the s3xes. While I don’t think we can necessarily say that the nuclear family is intrinsic to human biology, it is antithetical to corporatism. In the U.S WWI brought forward a necessity for women to become introduced within the workforce, breaking societal norms in the process (which isn’t a bad thing). Once industry had a taste of this they were quick to capitalize and push to expand the working class to increase profits. There lies an interesting moral dichotomy here; women deserve just as much oppurtunity as men. There is a persistent expansion by corporations however that not only shackles both men and women via the workforce, but also turns them into tools for profit. This act leaves men/women bare of children who would reproduce otherwise. This social programming starts young. The first question you likely remember being asked as a child was ‘what do you want to be when you grow up?’ Isn’t it funny how we constrict the vast imaginative expectation of children to the focal diameter of a profession, reducing them to a single identity in the name of what? ‘Helping the world’? They teach children that their purpose is to serve a higher power in the name of the greater good. The craziest part is that the people who perpetuate this programming believe they are doing good onto the world by teaching the new generation. There is no malice in their hearts; I can’t say for certain that there is malice in the hearts of even most wealthy business owners as even they act out of self-preservation. They see only good in their philanthropic endeavors donating millions to schooling for a ‘new and better’ generation of children. Education is a double-edged sword and it must be re-established to frame a less restricted mental outline for our children. #politics #men #political

i do often think ab the fact that the first question asked of us when we meet someone besides our name is “what do we do” or what do we want to be, and the implication is it is ab our job, and that comes before anything else about us that actually matters

Societal constraints, like religion, invariably existed in order to limit female hypergamy. We are witnessing the consequences of the dissolution of such constraints contemporarily.

It's really impressive how you can put all of these abstract thoughts and ideas and make it as easily digestible as you do, I've had this idea for a long time but you put it into much better words than I ever would've, super impressive

society is so driven by money that it destroys the individuality we used to have, and are all supposed to. People don’t study what they’re passionate about they study what givesthem the best chance at a career. It’s a painful reality to live in when every decision you make has to revolve around how you'll financially sustain yourself in the future.
