What I don’t get is how Nancy and Jonathan didn’t die. When Nancy disturbed the exotic matter by shooting it, it practically melted the whole top floor of the lab. How didn’t they melt as well ?

I think that will dying when Joyce beheads vecna would’ve been such a cool plot twist, and then it’s just a black screen and you hear Joyce scream, that wouldn’t broken my heart but it would’ve added so much to the story
