I know this is obviously a joke, but IDs have expiration dates for a reason. People's appearance and information changes as time goes by, and verifying someone's identity with information from 10 years ago leaves a lot of room for error. It's less "You, the person on the ID, are no longer 25 now that it has expired" and more "We can no longer legally confirm that the person on the ID *is* you, and we do not want to be held liable for it on the off chance that it's not."

I’ve heard about having hair colour on ur license in American tv idk if its real but I change my hair every 4-6months usually I couldn’t imagine trying to keep up with updating it
