if you want a true glass finish use a paint gun, if you can’t then i recommend using 2k clear it has a built in hardener you activate and gives it a nice finish for a can job

Why would you use such shit clear coat. The paint store could have sold you 2k clear in a spray can. You will never fix it by buffing that clear that you used.

Should’ve done 2k clear and you should’ve hit it with like 1500-2k sand paper before clear to help it all look even

(former bodyman) ...... your coats were to close to the panel, and to short of passes...... the last 2 coats needed to be at least 6 inches from the panel, and each pass needed to be from one side to the e other, and the and each pass should overlay the last pass by like 30 % and the coats need to be heavy, but not to heavy other wise you make it run...... but if you did it like I said, the finish would be mirror and you would not need 2k clear like everyone is saying

This cans of paint sucked you needed 2K clear spray max can and the way you sprayed it is why it looks like crap needed a slow heavy coat in long strokes not quick blotches like the way you sprayed

Just get single stage paint and do 3 medium coats instead of a lot of light coats that’s why there’s so much tiger stripes
