Yes, when I first drink alcohol I liked the taste of it. it was a mixed drink and that's all I used to drink out of the gate and it tasted good. but moreover, I liked the effect and that's why people drink alcohol for the effect, not the taste. whether you have one drink or 10, you're doing it for the effect. 2. I drink lots of stuff that don't have an effect. mountain Dew for instance or water or orange juice. so yes, I would still consume something that I like the taste of and enjoy whether it had an effect or not. just like I do with virtually every other thing that I drink in my life. 3. having a craving at only specific times would fall under literally everything you eat. you don't crave pizza in the morning. you crave it at dinner time or lunch. How about a steak. Cravings are very different from compulsions.

I do not like the taste of alcohol, I like the taste of some beers that contain it. I won’t just drink any beer as there are many I do not like and won’t drink them. I don’t drink sodas either as they are too sweet, I drink mostly water, tea and coffee and my favourite beers.
