so happy there wasnt a karen in the vet the other day. i was crying because he was pooping blood. i was a walk in. hes ok scared me badly. no answer on where it came from and now acts like nothing happened.

once had a lady get mad because she was waiting for her dog to be brought up for discharge and had an owner rush his dog in (the owner who got mad OPENED THE DOOR FOR THIS EMERGENCY) for heat stroke. Dad sets his dog on the scale i yell to the back, “I need help i have an emergency i have a possible heat stroke” the owner who got mad then starts getting mad despite witnessing the owner rush his dog in, me yelling i need help there’s an emergency, and a tech rushing up to take the dog straight back to start cooling measures and im getting as much info from the owner as i can and placing him an exam room while we treat his dog, like im sorry but this dog is more of a priority than Fluffy’s annual appt discharge we will have him up as soon as possible

I had someone throw their lifeless dog at me (hbc) and when I came downstairs the lady I was originally helping was annoyed I stopped helping her.

I brought my cat to the emergency vet late af at night and was prepared to wait a bit. The same staff that advised me of the 2 hour wait over the phone snatched him so fast when she saw him (late stage kidney disease) 😭 Always grateful for vet staff!
