Fun fact: This movie had no script. Like, literally none. After the movie hit theaters in 2000, a film archivist from Disney requested the official script from the film for company record keeping. Screenwriter David Reynolds explained they didn't have one because they basically improved the whole thing while it was being animated. After the archivist insisted he needed SOMETHING and supposedly refusing to transcribe the film in theaters, Reynolds had a group of interns compile a set of loose pages the crew had jotted down during production. Those pages were then assembled and interstitials were made to string them together before the whole thing was submitted as the final draft
