@natalie_oneillll: I usually avoid videos about Accutane because I'm aware that it's a very serious medication, and I'm not a doctor. It just doesn't always feel right for me to comment on it. However, this is the perfect video to sum up my theory on why I think this specific issue occurs. What I think is happening here is the oil glands enlarging slightly after completing the course of Accutane, which is very common for many people. Not everyone's oil glands start producing oil again, but typically there will be a little bit of a resurgence. When you're on Accutane, it’s generally advised not to use topical acne treatments because your skin is going to be so dry already. That means that when you finish the course and oil production comes back, your skincare routine isn't well equipped to deal with it. This sometimes causes the appearance of clogged pores that you might feel confused about how to treat. In my opinion, you should always consult with your dermatologist because if you're using Accutane, you will be under the care of a dermatologist anyway. However, if a few months have passed and your skin isn't as dry as it was on the Accutane, it could be a good idea to start using either a salicylic acid toner or a retinoid. #accutane #skincare #skincaretips
