I’m in trades and honestly it’s just a matter of what timeframe is “anytime soon”. I think this comes in two waves. First wave, robots will be owned and deployed by the trade companies alongside human technicians. Used in varying degrees based on the scope of the service. The second wave will start to impact home service companies as household robots owned by homeowners become more prevalent and capable. Eventually the household robot will be able to download the needed skill sets to diagnose and perform most repairs as well as order the necessary supplies.
