An entire camera crew follows the ball exclusively, no matter where it goes, and FIFA isn't showing us any footage from those cameras.

well if it hit a camera, why can't they just look at the video from the camera? I would imagine the camera would have had a jolt at the time the ball hit it which would have been very clear

Keep in mind the Trionda is ”the roundest ball ever”. With only 4 panels, it is very possible that the ”knuckleball effect” happens, especially during long goal kicks and clearances. Quote from Frontofficesports.com: ”As a low-spin goal kick slowly rotates in the air, [the ball] shifts from a high-drag panel orientation to a low-drag panel orientation. This causes the ball to suddenly "wobble," look like it is abruptly changing speed, or dart unexpectedly.”
