@nahobess: New angle of England’s first goal… 👀 The ball appears to strike the Spidercam cable before the equaliser, which should have resulted in a dropped ball. However, FIFA reportedly said the ball’s sensor data detected no impact. 🇳🇴🤯 Goal or no goal? #England #Norway #WorldCup2026 #Spidercam #VAR
I figured out why the sensor didn’t register - He’s back!

Why don't they use their eyes instead of the sensor

An entire camera crew follows the ball exclusively, no matter where it goes, and FIFA isn't showing us any footage from those cameras.

England fan here and I’m impartial but why can’t see the footage from the spider cam itself ? Surely we’d see the camera move or wobble

Picking and choosing when to use VAR or the sensor … they get to choose which fits their narrative

If we consider physics and the laws of motion. This clearly shows that the trajectory was changed by the ball. So, it definitely hit something.

Nuh uh. The same chip that showed it touched the Croatian player but didn’t register that it hit the Portuguese player said it didn’t hit the wire so… there!

clearly the sensors are bad rather than claiming it didn't happen just admit sensor could have malfunctioned just saying🤷♀️🤦♀️

Was the camera not recording? Couldn’t they just check the feed and see if it started shaking/swaying after that moment?

So the ball feels a hair, but not a wire, got it👍

well if it hit a camera, why can't they just look at the video from the camera? I would imagine the camera would have had a jolt at the time the ball hit it which would have been very clear

Keep in mind the Trionda is ”the roundest ball ever”. With only 4 panels, it is very possible that the ”knuckleball effect” happens, especially during long goal kicks and clearances. Quote from Frontofficesports.com: ”As a low-spin goal kick slowly rotates in the air, [the ball] shifts from a high-drag panel orientation to a low-drag panel orientation. This causes the ball to suddenly "wobble," look like it is abruptly changing speed, or dart unexpectedly.”

Can’t they also just look at the footage from the camera? Wouldn’t it have a little jolt?

Couldn’t detect that but the ball could feel hairs during another game. lol

Can someone please do the math/statistics of the trajectory of that ball? There has to be a way mathematically to figure out where that ball should’ve landed instead of where it did.
