this little girl is extremely sharp. The dispatcher asked if anyone else was in the house like a “uncle” or “family member” and the child immediately knew she was asking about an intruder.

This is why it's so important to talk to your kids/teach them from a young age, she was able to explain and answer each question very well for her age and knew to call 911 and the dispatcher was amazing as well. This is so incredibly sad and hard 😭 but I'm glad that little girl was able to effectively communicate what was going on/where she was, the type of car etc. Sharp kiddo.

I’m so glad that the dispatcher distracted her and comforted her to focus on something else while also obtaining information at the same time. Poor baby girl, she’s only 5 and I can’t even imagine what she had to go through witnessing it all.
