User2747493093 :
I painted Mona Lisa for my art class when I was younger, I can remember my frustration because I wasn't able to make her expression accurate , especially the mouth ,( that was the point if she is smiling or not) , so... for me it's a surprise to see this new version of her with a notorious smile, not a slightly smile as before

she was always smiling, mr pebody, when they traveled back in time to when they paint her, she has a slight smile due to her laughing.
she has always been smiling. but due to miscommunication. and or possibly lies, we have been deceived by multiple or few people in close lives who heard from another who heard from another. gossip is a very powerful tool used in most of today's society.

It's the perspective you can see her one time not smiling...and see her another time smiling a little it's how the brain sees her the exact time

Why is everyone suddenly confirmed they've saw her smile in the painting? I remember she just had a slight smirk that wasn't supposed to give a full expression of what she feel

The mona lisa was smiling. my memory was just a bit vague and her mouth didn't really have a prominent smile, but it did have a faint one

The Mona Lisa was always smiling, the story from what I was told was Davinci tried everything to make her smile and nothing worked, then he told some corny joke and it made her laugh ultimately smiling, correct me if I’m wrong but she was always smiling

no its always been like that, the expression is intentionally confusing like this. she looks like she is not smiling but there is this small upward motion on the corners of her mouth making her look cold but flirty at the same time

I swear this whole jumping timeline thing is real, I experienced it myself, one day I woke up finding myself not following my two favorite footballers even though I follow them, and I realized I jumped timeline.

On my birthday, I was brushing my hair in the mirror and I was looking at myself for a bit too long and my room was dark and then my eyes appeared to look to the right side when I wasn’t looking to the right side and I got so scared as a kid and creeped out of myself it felt like a significant thing that happened to me

ive seen multiple variations of the mona lisa online so we could just have seen one that wasn't smiling then seen one that was and people mentioning it has probably tricked our brains into thinking she was already smiling or not
its easy to trick our minds
