hdmi is a digital signal, a bad cable would just be a bad cable causing digital artifacts, the data doesn't change from a weaker signal like analogue. any perceived difference is in your head.

the cables tip is pure waffle its a ps3 not p5 any hdmi cable will work. Also there is a setting in most of these tvs that boost fps in older games

hdmi is a digital signal, it either works or doesn't. a pound shop hdmi cable, will work just as well as £50. Now obviously, the different standards (1.2, 1.4, 2.0, 2.1) comes into play, but not for PS3 really.

ps3 games just look good on modern tv's. Its an HDMI console, unlike ps2 which is scart and works better with crt and needs all those bum adapters to look good on modern tv

Bro I’ve been following u for years and ur display always seems great with every game u throw at it, yet my lg c4 looks awful with basically any game that isn’t native 4k or atleast good upscaled 4k. Playing re3 now and even tho for the most part it looks great, in areas with mostly flat colors there’s obvious pixelation and visual glitching, don’t get me started on my xbox 360 that’s not even playable.. I really wanna get a ps3 as wel and start collecting ps3 games but the games just look awful. I use the hdmi cables that came with the consoles (native 4k games look stunning ofcourse on my 4k oled)

i have the opposite question. how do i make it look better on a crt tv? feels like it was aimed more at flatscreen 16:9 tvs than 4:3 crts 😭

PS3 max out at 1080p. You don’t need a cable over 5 bucks. It’ll give you the same image as a $30 cable.
