I literally have multiple little glass bowls of seashells around my house. I love the shards of shells that have the pearlescent lacquer on the inside of them! They look so magical. My favorite little rare treasures to look for are the cowrie shells, especially the ones that have little vibrant pops of color that look almost out of place.

I have always loved seashell gathering. You can get a spray sealant that will enhance the colors and make them pop. The sealant will also give them a nice shine. You may also be interested in collecting sea glass. It’s pieces of glass that have been abraded by the action of the waves and sand. People collect sea glass and make jewelry out of it.
