I can't tell people enough, if you want good KY style bbq, drive past Moonlite and head over to Ol Hickory on Frederica beside Kroger.

I went Friday and it was hot as hell in there. Like they are too cheap to run the A.C. The fiddlers were good. but the barbecue was average.

I’m sorry I’ve been in every Barbecue Place around.. There’s a lot of good ones.. I will Not Waste My Time or Money at Moonlight.. Try Homers or Thompson in Henderson and Ol Hickory and Ol South in Owensboro.. We haven’t found anything yet in Evansville… Just my opinion.. I’m sure people’s taste varies..

It’s $27.85 on the weekend. That’s not including taxes. Tip or drink. Like what? That food is trash. I am always shocked they are still open. There is a reason they have 3 star reviews.

Back in the day Moonlite was the place! But I went a couple months ago and it was sad. Food wasn’t hot, cornbread was dry, Service sucked. And price was outrageous I won’t go back and I’ve been going there for over 40 yrs.
