It looks hard to talk about. I'm so conflicted about your mother. she appears in and out of the story as sympathetic sometimes because she is a victim on many fronts and also as the perpetrator. I don't know how to feel about her. One thing for sure though I hope and pray that you feel better. CSA is so hard and I appreciate all the people on this app who share that part of their lives because it helps a lot of people.

That is a whole different level. Previously, in terms of your mother herself, we could say that she was being negligent or even recklessly, willfully, ignorant of the things that were happening to you. But she wasn’t necessarily doing them. Sexually, I mean. But for her to have sex in the bed next to you, that is sexual abuse. Your mother sexually abused you. Knowingly. It doesn’t matter if she thought you were asleep. That is sexual abuse of a child. I’m so sorry that happened to you.
