@based.legacy: In the 8th century, Saint Boniface, a Christian missionary, arrived in Germany to teach about his faith. He came to a place in Hesse where people worshipped a great oak tree dedicated to the god Thor. The tree was seen as sacred and strong. To prove the truth of Christianity, Boniface decided to chop down the tree in public. He did this with strong faith and courage. The watching pagans expected him to be punished, but he stayed safe and this amazed them. As a result, many people converted to Christianity that day. Boniface used the wood to build a church there. His action showed great bravery and helped spread the Christian message. #historyedit #History #christianity
