she is basically zuko if his father showed him affection. zuko was ready to kill the avatar a 12 year old boy for his honor and that was when his dad hated him, imagine what he would be like if his dad liked him. also she is 2 years younger than zuko so she isn't as mature or independent as him, she still seeks her parents aprovle cuz she doesn't know what she wants just that hearing him praise her makes her happy.
