@baxterequineservices: Another mane tidying technique 🐴✂️ This stunning boy has a fabulous mane for dressage plaits, and I don’t want to thin it out at all as it has a perfect amount of volume naturally. It was getting a bit long, so it’s been shorted by about 3”, still leaving plenty of length for chunky dressage style plaits. I’ve used a rake to take most of the length off that I didn’t want - this technique is also very good to use on native type manes as it leaves a very soft (rather than blunt) finish. I then use scissors to trim off any straggly ends so that there is a more uniform length along the mane. Any questions?
