They explained it to you wrong, that’s why, their theology of the scriptures were wrong, Jesus suffered but where was God? So if Jesus suffered who came as God in the flesh, we will suffer in this world also, do your studies on Adam and Eve and how SIN caused God to backed his hand away from the natural flow of this life due to their disobedience (we no longer can live in the flesh forever)

why would babies get cancer, why would women get beat by men, why would grandmas who were devoted to the church get cancer and die? I have no clue but I'm sorry boo. I had a church grandma too, hairstylist and died of lung cancer 6 months after retiring.

I stopped believing in the church when I worked at a bank. These church accts have moneyyyyyyyyy! Ppl give so much money to the church & when the ppl need help financially the church can’t give back. Mind you they can give money & still have a lot of money left over.

i have religion trauma, there’s periods of my life where i flip flop like i try to have faith and believe in god, or i’m atheist or i’m agonist. i don’t really know what i am and that’s something i had accepted a long time ago.😭😭😭 i’ll respect people’s beliefs, religion, etc tho it’s just not meant for me

my mom was begging on her death bed asking "what did I do god?" she was in so much pain and confusion. no loving father or loving god would put someone they love through anything like that.

I call myself a “realistic Christian” cause I was in the same boat as you girl. I believe in some things but after both my grandparents got sick, I stopped believing He had power to heal cause in the end, they’re both gone. 🤷🏻♀️

I’m sorry to hear that you experienced loss but death is a natural rhythm of life whether you believe in God or not. Loss/ Pain doesn’t go away just because you believe in God. But knowing that you have support in a higher power (God) is the key to faith.
