Before you know it the 900 bucks won’t even get you access to the lounge. They’ll add another obstacle in the way… minimum spend, etc! Bs! I’ll take my business elsewhere!

Just remove the AU lounge access and I guarantee the crowds will drop. So many people share the same Amex account with multiple AUs and use the lounge.
