When I’m driving around, I always question “why would tourists wanna come to this rundown ass country anyways?” But then remembered that they see a glammed up fancy version on their flyers- then get disappointed when everything is so damn expensive.

I agree with everything but…. When I was growing up in Jamaica…. It still felt like a paradise to us…. We went to dolphin Cove., we went to rivers and beaches… go outside and chill… there’s a lot of things that we do on that island… amongst ourselves (black) that we can clean as our paradise… we don’t have access to a lot of things because of money… and it makes it hard to live… I agree with what you’re saying though… from the outside, looking in, it’s hard to understand… but even in the jungle, we still find paradise..
