I mean look at what happened when Momoshiki and Kinshiki came to Konoha. Everyone but Naruto, Sasuke, Sarada and Boruto evacuated the area of the battle. No one there could stop these two so they might as well stay out of the way

kawaki said, "the age of shinobi is over..." and the stone faces was destroyed, so my first thought, they all died... but i don't think that will be the situation. it would be the end of boruto if that happened. i feel like, the other was fighting from the different battlefield, or this was the ending arc where kawaki was trying to end the momoshiki spirit inside boruto, like how sasuke and naruto fight after the war arc in hashirama and madara's statues, they were alone too.
