Long distance? Im with the loml of almost a little over a year she lives in GA I unfortunately live in VA… 9hr15 min drive. Sometimes I fly down there or she’ll fly up here. We never give up on each other no matter what.

We were 10 hours away from each other, we were online friends for a year and a half, we were both single for a month or so and I heard she was coming up in a few weeks only 30 minutes away from where I lived to see her grandparents, I took a chance all or nothing and told her I loved her while we were in a private call, seconds felt like hours as I finally heard her crying slightly saying “yes I’ll be yours” we met a few weeks later and had an amazing week I met a lot of her family, then she had to go back home before school started up again, a year later I graduated and got a full time job, I spent all of my money on my first car and saving up to go south every chance I had, a few times I drove 10 hours one way for a weekend trip, left Friday night right after work and stayed until about noon on Sunday just to be with her until her parents offered for me to live with them until we could get on our feet, I save every penny I had so I could move, I packed everything I had in my car (it wasn’t much) and took a chance that everyone told me not to, “it won’t work” “y’all are too young” all that was all I heard for a year and a half from the moment we got together to the moment I told people I was moving, I drove 10 hours away leaving everything I ever knew behind just for her, it wasn’t easy but I’ve never regretted it, most of my life I’ve felt like I was missing something, something deep inside of me, about a month or so of living with her and her family I started to feel whole like I finally found what I was missing my whole life, I’ve never looked back since, we’ve been together almost 4 and a half years now it still isn’t easy but I would want to do it with anyone else we’re finding our way slowly, and I’m so happy every day to wake up seeing my beautiful baby, holding her in my arms, I still wake up everyday in disbelief that everything I ever wanted and needed is in my arms everyday, the distance sucked but we did it to be together and it’s changed everything for both of us, god I love her so much, also thank you for anyone that actually reads this far I know it’s terribly long

My gf of four years is driving to meet me today! We’re only 18 and 19 so that’s why it took so long. Remember you can beat the distance, it’s hard but you can do it :)
