Well, I appreciate your opinion and actually sitting there calmly voicing it which many can't do without screaming and cussing. There's so much division now which is sad. Everyone is making about skin color not how a person is made up of inside. They're making it about skin color, which has absolutely nothing to do with it. Fear has been installed in everyone now, so my question would be respectfully if there was some black boys swimming, and one of them was actually drowning, and the black boys could not save them because one reason another and there was some white boys walking by would you accept the fact that they're too fearful to jump in and save that Boy? This is how it's it is now, but if God forbid that boy didn't make it then it would be all the white boys fault for not saving him. That's how twisted and messed up this world is right now that's why this will never end.justice should be served. Of course it should when they get down to the absolute facts. There's so much speculation right now and jumping to conclusions just because there were two skin colors involved .If this family of this young man accepted the fact of what happened to him and are just grieving privately, these are the people that go fund me account needs to be set up for more than anything. They probably need to help. Where is the protest and GoFundMe account for Aiken? Is it because everybody involved was the same skin color that's what the narrative is it only matters when there's opposite skin colors?

He is not the only African American at that school my kid played football with him and went to school with him and the ethnicity is about 50/50 there and he was loved by everyone

So after reviewing the comments, everyone believes from their on personal experience that Deion Walton was loved by his friends. However, because someone questioned if there could have been something nefarious that contributed to this incident, everyone seems appalled. Why? Historically and present day circumstances dictate that questions should be asked. He only asked questions. If you believed that he shouldn’t then ask yourself if your family had lost someone after what has occurred why wouldn’t you want to know?

Depends on how mercury the water is and how deep it is closer if you’re watching it from the bank you’re not gonna know exactly where he went under. You may know closely where it happened, but you’re not gonna be able to pinpoint. But my guess is the water was deepand most likely murky which makes visibility pretty much at a zero. That would be my guess.

As someone who went to Straughn high school with Deion, I can confidently say that I never heard a single bad thing about him. He was genuinely one of the kindest, sweetest people. I’m tired by all the speculation surrounding his death, especially when it’s assumptions about race. His friends, classmates, and loved ones are on this app grieving an unimaginable loss. Please don’t believe everything you see or hear on the internet. Let the facts come out, and most importantly, let the people who knew and loved him grieve in peace.
