the burning side was definitely my favorite book of june !! i agree about the good sister too, it definitely is too long and the repetitive nature of the story the way she retells the initial incident with their mother several times revealing more each time it just made my stomach hurt. it was so violent and disturbing, it didn’t make me feel good. i’ve only read pretty girls by her besides the good daughter as well but i am still willing to read another from her to see if it hits more.
