it’s not lost on me that Cinna and Boggs are the only adults in the entire franchise to consistently from the start treat katniss with respect, dignity, and acknowledge the horrible circumstances she’s in without pittying her or ignoring her strength and empathy

i agree that katniss absolutely would not have spun if she knew. katniss cared so much about her mentors and family that she put them above the revolution at times. if she knew any act of resistance would put someone she loved in danger she would be hesitant or straight up refuse/need a LOT of convincing

I sobbed when I read when they took Cinna away and Katniss had to watch. and then I cried again when they gave her Cinna's designs for her mockingjay outfits after she chose telling her he made them swear not to show her until she agreed because he didn't want to sway her decision. He really loved and cared about Katniss as a person
