I heard someone say something that made absolute sense: Black Flag is Ubisoft's Skyrim. they got the blueprint right with Black Flag, but didn't understand why fans deem it the best in the franchise. Black Flag was truly the peak of the franchise... we all know the rest. I just hope Ubisoft learned something while working on the remake, but given the... stance we've seen in every game since Odyssey, I doubt it.
