My mom and her bf went to Ichiran for a solo date (we had a bunch of kids with us and it’s decidedly not a kids’ spot). Her bf is STILL fiending for that ramen. He’s tried a bunch in OC, but nothing can match it. He said it was his favorite part of the entire trip 🤣

Travel tip: In no way shape or form should ANYBODY be waiting in line for Ichiran. There are multiple locations, and by multiple I mean a shitload. Avoid the ones in Shibuya (unless you're going there after the bars), Harajuku, Shinjuku, and other tourist spots and you won't have to wait in line
