@jess.curates: College isn’t the only path to a successful career. After 24 years behind the chair, I can confidently say becoming a hairstylist was one of the best decisions I ever made. I struggled in the classroom. I had ADHD and could not focus or thrive in that kind of setting. College is an amazing path for so many people, but it wasn’t my path. They say if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will spend its whole life believing it’s stupid… and I felt that... I’m so grateful God led me to a career where my ADHD, creativity, and the way my brain works could actually shine. I built a career, became a salon owner, created a life I love, and get to make people feel beautiful along the way.
