Agent is available for adoption and is also seeking rescue placement. Although he was initially nervous, he has consistently shown himself to be an affectionate, friendly dog who enjoys spending time with people. He is easy to leash with low-stress handling, walks calmly at his handler's side, and loves carrying toys wherever he goes. He has been observed happily carrying multiple toys at once, lying in handlers' laps while chewing on a ball, and readily trading toys for treats without any guarding behavior. As his shelter stay has continued, Agent has begun showing increasing signs of stress while confined, including repetitive spinning and jumping off the kennel walls. Despite one report of him being mouthy during kennel removal, staff have consistently been able to leash, handle, and return him to his kennel without issue using calm techniques and treats. Outside of the kennel he remains relaxed, enjoys enrichment, and settles well with people.
