This song fits exactly what many families are going through. Only funerals and bad times bring us together as a family. My kids don't know my brothers' and sisters' kids because of no visitations; we rarely get along. We explain a lot to our kids about other family members, which deepens the hate.

I had to do this with my family because it was toxic, I am more careful who I allow in my life. Family is not always blood but who accepts you, care for you and encourages you not people who drag you down and drain your energy.
