As a technicality, I was uncomfortable about how white my monstera adansonii mint was getting. The original seller said it was okay, but I had to chop it because I couldn't trust the process. But, because they said it was normal, I still tossed the cutting in water as a science experiment. Probably a doomed one, but whatever. Most of my props have been because my cat likes to knock things over and break plants--I've only just started intentionally propagating.

succulents are so hard. a leaf falls off and by the time I notice a week later there is a baby plant on the end with roots. it would be a crime to not put that in some dirt and a pretty pot
