Both groups arrived at the airport simultaneously. After poking fun at them for spending too much, they approached the ticket counter to check in, only to find out they didn't have valid tickets. They reached out to customer service and learned that due to high demand during peak season, activating their tickets would cost an extra $2700. The parents began firing off questions and turned to OP's parents for assistance. Unfortunately, there was no contact information, company details, or insurance info available. It was most likely a scam. Parents started asking what happened to all the money. Savanna gathered everyone's money and sent it via Venmo. They pointed fingers at OP, claiming she should have given them multiple warnings. OP showed the parents the chat messages. The airline then called OP's group for boarding. OP's parents informed the other parents that once they got OP class boarded, their travel agency could assist them. However, they would need signed contracts, and doing it at the last minute would nearly double the cost. Savanna broke down in tears, not realizing she was still live streaming, while her chat was mocking her. OP's group had a fantastic and smooth experience. Savanna ended up going viral online, earning the nickname "$1400 airport picnic." Alot of Savanna' s class didn't go, some paid the scammers and still got nothing.
