same. tipped the waiter at the Mexican restaurant we went to. next night we went to the Italian place next door and the waiter from the Mexican place sent me a margarita lol.

Tipping in the US.. not fun, tipping out of the country at an all inclusive is my favorite thing to do! 🤣 They are just amazing and we have always been treated amazing!

100% agree. Not just poolside…restaurants and bars too. They will 100% remember you…you will get the best service, the best liquor and the strongest drinks. A little small talk goes a long way too.

Remember that this is resort dependent. We go to Sandals and the only staff that will accept or expect tips are butlers. Every other staff member is not allowed to accept tips.

Oh yes, we tip them $20 the first drink of the day and then tip them a few dollars per drink after that, or $5 every 2 drinks or so. They definitely remember you and give you preferential service. If it’s the same server the next day, they will come to you first and greet you by name. They work so hard in the sun, we always want to show our appreciation

Recommend taking off your VCA. The stone is porous and the sunscreen, sweat, chlorine, etc will damage it. Eventually you’ll have to replace it because it will wear down and become loose in the setting. I wish I had known!
