@christopherthelawyer: If you want to keep your job, don't be a good employee. Be a pushover. As an employment lawyer, I see this everyday. The employees who ask the right questions, push back on broken systems, and refuse to roll over are the first ones to get pushed out. And the toxic managers who make their lives miserable never are. Good employees get labeled difficult. Not because they are. But because they don't comply. And in a workplace built on silence, that makes them a threat. If you were pushed out for refusing to be a pushover, what happened to you may not have been just unfair. It may have been illegal. If this sounds familiar, DM help. #constructivedismissal #wrongfuldismissal #legaladvice #employmentlawyer #EmploymentLaw @Achkar Law

I've literally worked for companies that didn't hire someone because in their words "asked too many questions" guess that's a bad fit

I used to be like that… showed up early, left late, always challenged the status quo and recommended ways for the company to be more efficient. Realized none of it was worth it. Now I just stay silent and do my job

Man, this is exactly what happened to me. I ran two of the most complex plants, delivered great results, but I challenged some of their decisions. In the end, they found a reason to let me go, one that I still don’t agree with. But life goes on. When one door closes, another one opens.

Yup. I got laid off after repeatedly asking leadership to clarify our investment strategy because the team was confused. Visited an Employment Lawyer and was incredibly glad I did

Yeah, so, "just comply if you don't want to get fired" is, oversimplified. And definitely not the case in every situation. If you're the one holding the license and your name's attached to the business, you're accountable to regulators. So silence could actually hurt you. There's a difference between being a troublemaker and fulfilling your professional duty. Speaking up about safety or compliance isn't insubordination. It's protecting your career, your license, and in some cases, even your conscience.

I love strong employees, Iess supervision and the job is done. Until they create a company within a company. People won't follow your rules until they approve it. Division😢

Yes you are absolutely banger. 10 years. I’ve been with my employer over in the UK. I am a plant operator. There’s nothing that haven’t done to have the business at times working overtime for free long hours. I’m a plant operator but recently we have change of management and I’ve worked with this manager briefly before micromanage the life out of you and as a result is very argumentative back as a result I was given a task, and a machine without him doing a risk assessment I was asked to lift some heavy lentils on a pallet of injured my back and as a result I’m in and out of the doctors office now and when I raise the concern the HR don’t know the area bill manager is pissed because I’ve spoken at least don’t care. I am pissed. Do you know that you know so, but yeah, you’re absolutely right to respect.
