Two hours before my pawpaw passed, I was standing there crying and saying how much I love him. He suddenly gained an awareness he hadn’t had in days and asked me why I was crying. I told him it was because I love him so much. I was the last person he spoke to before he passed. I like to think the last thing he heard was me telling him how much I love him.
