Today, my wife, our baby boy, and I were baptized into the Orthodox Church after two years of attending St. Paul Orthodox Church in Tupelo and one year as a catechumen. People say young Americans are rediscovering the ancient Christian faith through the Orthodox and Catholic Churches. We're living proof that it's happening in the American South too. we just had 3 baptisms last Saturday, and my wife and I were fully enrolled into the catechism the very next day. it's been a big weekend for our parish, and I can't wait for my baptism!
