1. Pre-grinding Inspection & Preparation
Clean the forging and heat-treated bearing blank thoroughly to remove oxide scale, burrs and residual impurities. Conduct full inspection of blank size, hardness and surface condition to confirm no cracks, deformation or defects, and prepare professional grinding tools and cooling liquid according to product specifications.
2. Rough Grinding Process
Perform rough grinding on the raceway surface, end face and outer/inner circle of the slewing bearing. Remove the excess machining allowance rapidly, correct the basic shape deviation of the workpiece, and lay a foundation for finish grinding. This process ensures the overall dimensional stability and reduces the processing pressure of fine grinding.
3. Stress Relief Treatment
Eliminate the internal mechanical stress generated during rough grinding and previous machining processes to prevent bearing deformation in subsequent processing and long-term service. Effectively improve the structural stability and fatigue resistance of the slewing bearing.
4. Finish Grinding Process
Carry out high-precision finish grinding on key surfaces including raceway, mounting end face, inner and outer diameter. Strictly control the geometric tolerance, flatness, roundness and surface roughness of the workpiece. Achieve ultra-smooth raceway surface to ensure uniform rolling of steel balls and stable rotation performance.
5. Precision Forming & Matching Grinding
Aim at the special arc and groove structure of slewing bearing raceways, conduct profiling grinding to ensure the perfect matching between raceway curvature and rolling elements. Optimize the contact state of the friction pair, reduce rotation resistance and improve the bearing capacity and operation stability of the product.
6. Post-grinding Cleaning & Deburring
Clean the bearing workpiece with professional cleaning equipment to completely remove grinding dust, abrasive residues and oil stains. Polish and deburr the edge and transition position to ensure a smooth and burr-free overall surface, avoiding assembly jamming and wear.
