@mothershipsg: The shooting occurred on the night of Jul. 11 (local time) during Salsa on St. Clair, Canada's largest Latin street festival, in Toronto. Toronto Police initially reported an active shooter situation, but later clarified that this was not the case. Speaking at a media conference, the deputy police chief said investigators had yet to determine what triggered the shooting. He added that there had been an exchange of gunfire between several individuals and that 2 firearms were recovered at the scene. The suspects remain at large, although police said the scene has since been secured.
