Daemon should just tell her. Rhaenyra in the show is very different in the book. I’m sure she won’t do anything to rhaena. Tho their relationship will probably change but at least she now knows the truth. It’s better for daemon to be the one who will say it than her finding the truth from others. Because she knows that if other people already knows it, then daemon probably knows it too already

Like the boys are Daemons his girls are Rhaenyras, she would have been heartbroken but she wouldn’t hurt her. Her grief would be complicated but that’s her family. It would’ve been real true closure. I hate that he lied . She doesn’t deserve that he should have trusted her

Why do the people around her not trust her? Her whole thing is all about trying to be merciful as much as she could BUT NO they always assume that she'd do the worse! So, they always end up betraying her. Same with freaking Alicent, she actually believed that her friend would harm her and her children. Then Daemon😭 Sure she'd be mad but I truly doubt she would kill his daughter. She said 'look' not kill💀

She would have been mad but rhaenyra would have never harmed rhaena. She would have to have a suitable punishment anyways because she abandoned the only two legitimate heirs to the throne to chase a wild dragon because of her insecurities and said dragon cause jaces death indirectly. Even daemons like uh you were supposed to be in pentos with my Targaryen children wtf.

Poor Rhaenyra is constantly being betrayed by everyone around her. She can't seem to trust anyone. Funnily enough, Mysaria, the one no one else seems to trust, is the only one that's actually being honest with her and not betraying her.

Daemon fears are valid, he's a father and believes to be doing the lesser evil. But telling her the truth would have been better, everybody is collecting forgetting the fact that Rhaenyra is not the dragon twins mother but she did raise them after Laena passed. This is Rhaena, a girl that played and loved her sweet boys, a girl who is the daughter of her husband, a girl who is her little cousin and a girl who was supposed to be her daughter in law had Lucerys lived. It would have been painful, it would have been difficult, and she was sure to be angry for Rhaena leaving her remaining three sons who are all under 10 and in their mother's eyes would have felt safer with their older sister. Rhaenyra would have never killed Rhaena.
