from my understanding of the rules (im not a mod just autistic and a lover of rules😅) this would be how i would explain their change of rating (to be clear i have the attack rating guide and your attack up on my laptop while writing this) - 1 character: you have only drawn one character, you have an increased line opacity version in the comments (I believe) but from my understanding of the rules this does not vary enough (its the same base image just with changes to line art) to be considered another character, same goes for your thumbnail. - rough colour: i think this can be a bit more subjective so I think you may have some room to argue on this point. but the key wording from the rules that relates to your drawing (i believe) is "features uneven, sketchy, or unfinished". i think this links into how its been interpreted that you included no shading as the colouring is interpreted as uneven where I believe thats actually your shading, hence you may wish to speak to a mod and explain this as an artist style difference. - unshaded: as mentioned before, I think its likely that your shading has been misinterpreted as uneven colouring. This was my first impression when quickly viewing the image. however after taking a pause I can see some shading. however I would not say fully shaded as I would not say the piece is consistently shaded which is necessary to be classed as a fully shaded piece. I have to note it is very difficult to see your shading as it is very light, so if a mod was making their judgments quickly I could understand their decision. Hope this is helpful and I havent come across arsey, im genuinely trying to help! personally I wouldn't worry about it because in my opinion its more about the person receiving the art enjoying it! But i can understand not wanting to be underrated if you have worked hard on something x

Way back in like 2018 they re-rated my attack saying it wasn't fully shaded when it was I was just bad at shading but there was lighting and shading n everything 😭

I BEEN SO SCARED OF THIS HAPPENING LOWKEY. Because like it's part of my artstyle to not render low-interest parts of the piece for contrast but it's for CONTRAST. It's still absolutely fully rendered for my STYLE.

It looks like it’s mostly bc u added a second character to get points for the thumbnail when the thumbnail and attack itself look nearly identical 😭 even if u drew the thumbnail completely from scratch it honestly still looks the same as the attack 🤷♂️they have to look unique to each other to count otherwise it’s considered point farming
