@truecrimewithwine: 🚨True Crime Alert🚨 - Daniel Krug & Kristil Krug . She thought her ex-boyfriend was stalking her… but the real monster was living under her own roof. 💔 For months, Kristil Krug, a Colorado mother of three, received threatening emails, texts, and disturbing messages from someone claiming to be an ex-boyfriend. Terrified, she reported the stalking to police—never realizing prosecutors say it was all an elaborate scheme orchestrated by her own husband, Daniel Krug. When Kristil began to suspect the truth and their marriage was falling apart, investigators say Daniel ambushed her in their garage after she returned home from dropping off their children at school, striking her in the head and fatally stabbing her. He then allegedly staged evidence and sent delayed text messages from her phone in an attempt to cover up the murder. In 2025, Daniel Krug was convicted of first-degree murder, stalking, and criminal impersonation and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. A heartbreaking reminder that sometimes the person you fear isn’t a stranger—it’s the one closest to you. 🕊️ #TrueCrime #truecrimeaddict #Crime&Wine #truecrimeaddict #TrueCrimeCommunity
