For anyone who wants the details or have not read the manga: Guts did SA Casca. He was not mentally present when he did that. He was imagining himself as a little child again getting SA’d alongside what happened afterwards when he ended Gambino. Even when he stops, he is still not present. He starts crying not because of what just happened but what happened back then with Gambino. Only after a few pages does he realize what he did to Casca and that’s when he apologizes, gets up and walks away. You can see the sorrow and regret in his face once he realizes. Was it still SA? Yes, no doubt about that. Right before this took place, guts asks casca if she is scared. When she explains why she is scared, guts comforts her instead of getting angry or annoyed. They share a heart to heart convo and hugs. Shortly after, they get intimate. Remember this is Guts first time having s3x apart from that time he got SA’d as a child. Guts understand what he did to casca was wrong. He never wanted it to happen in the first place but realizes it’s too late to change what happened. In other words he completely owns up to his mistake. In itself that takes guts, no pun intended. Casca follows guts as he walks of, they talk about what happened, they show each other understanding and compassion, and the chapter ends with casca laying peacefully on guts chest. If you hate guts after this that’s completely understandable and nobody should blame you for that. Also just because casca forgave guts doesn’t mean that anyone else has to forgive him for it
