We had a lot of similarities. The connection was there, and we shared the same values. We were able to be comfortable with each other even though we had only just met. It felt like we had known each other for a long time. I developed deep feelings for him. He also said that he liked me, but he was still unsure. After a month, I had already fallen deeply for him, and I prayed every day to God for our relationship. But in the end, he told me he was sorry and that he didn’t have any romantic feelings towards me. He said we could still be friends, and I agreed. Now, I’m still in the process of healing. It has been really hard crying and praying every day, asking God to ease the pain. I keep asking myself, “Why not me? Why doesn’t he want me?” I’ve been seeking God and trying to find peace through everything. The truth is, I still want him. A part of me still hopes for him, but I’m tired of fighting with my own heart. So I’m trying to surrender everything to God and let Him decide what is best for me. I just hope that one day I’ll be okay again.
