And that’s obviously what makes him an absolutely fascinating character. Which isn’t that he’s a perfect person or father and all, but that he acts as a functional cycle breaker. He was raised by an unforgiving mission, yet when he looks at his kids like cass or Damian, his immediate instrint is to de radicalize them. He gives them the choice he convinced himself he never had, essentially parenting them with the empathy he denied (and got denied to) his own teenage self.

tbf. Bruce chose to travel all over to train. Cassandra and Damian were born into being weapons. I think Bruce's teachers were awful and I don't disagree with you, but there's a bit of a difference in age here.

I don't think Bruce's situation can be called similar to Damian and Cass's. He chose to be a weapon and engage in selfdestructive behavior, while Cass and Damian had no choice
