@artem_pankovich: Common PK6 Gearbox Problem On Renault Trafic And Opel Vivaro. • In this video, we work on an Opel Vivaro equipped with the PK6-375 manual transmission, a gearbox commonly found in vehicles based on the Renault Trafic platform. • The customer complained about very difficult gear engagement, especially with third and fourth gears, which would often refuse to engage or only engage after several attempts. • Since the vehicle was travelling long distance and needed to continue its journey as soon as possible, a complete gearbox rebuild was not planned. The goal was to eliminate the main faults preventing normal operation. • During diagnosis, we discovered one of the most common problems on PK6 gearboxes - worn support bearings for one of the gear selector shafts inside the transmission housing. • Excessive play in this mechanism affects gear selection accuracy and often causes difficult or impossible gear engagement. • To solve the problem, we partially disassemble the gearbox, replace the worn selector shaft bearings, and install a new selector shaft assembly. • The video shows the complete repair process, inspection of the damaged components, and explains one of the most common failures found in Renault PK6 manual transmissions. • This repair guide will be useful for owners of Renault Trafic, Opel Vivaro and Nissan Primastar vehicles equipped with the PK6 gearbox. • #supermechanik #artempankovich #carservice #goldenhandsmechanic #CarRepair
