It's based on credits. So let's say your overall amount is 43k. And you apply like 2 weeks after your dismissal or whatever and it takes 20 days for your application to be approved and then you do your payment request and they process that like on like 10 day. Your first payment will be from the following day of you loosing your job till the day they process so that maybe comes to like 45 day which is actually 45 credits then they pay you R16k first payment. (43-16= 27k) so for your second payment maybe that's done at 32 days aka 32 credits it's not going to be like 10k cause you are left with 27k that needs to cover your total credit amounts. That's why it keeps decreasing. Hope I'm making sense
